Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of StoryPointCards at storypointcards.com (the "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

StoryPointCards is a collaborative planning poker tool for agile teams to estimate story points in real-time pointing sessions. Some features, such as importing issues from a connected Jira site, are optional and depend on integrations you choose to enable.

Your account

You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service—including attempting to disrupt it, access data that isn't yours, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Third-party integrations

The Service offers an optional integration with Atlassian Jira. Connecting Jira authorizes StoryPointCards to access the Jira data needed for features you use (such as importing selected issues as stories). Your use of Jira remains subject to Atlassian's own terms of service; we aren't responsible for the availability or behavior of third-party services we integrate with.

Intellectual property

You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Service (such as story names and descriptions). We retain ownership of the Service itself, including its software, design, and branding.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. Requesting account deletion deactivates your account so it can no longer be used to sign in; some account and activity records may be retained afterward (see our Privacy Policy for details, or contact us if you need data fully removed). We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for any account that violates these Terms.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, StoryPointCards isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
